The KRA Must Provide Written Reasons for an Assessment
It was the view of the Tribunal that the Respondent had, prior to issuing the assessment informed the Appellant of the basis. Further, the Tribunal notes that given that the Respondent had already issued the tariff ruling which the Appellant has not challenged, it follows that the Appellant ought to have been aware of the Respondent’s basis for the assessment.
